  1. Counter Operation Monthly Income Scheme Pre-Matured & Matured Closure In case of matured account, principal amount + bonus (If any) will be paid. Procedure same as per Savings Bank Account closure. In case of Pre-matured closure after one year but before three years 2% and after 3 year1% deducted from principal amount. Amount exceeding Rs 19999/- will be paid by cheque only. RULE NO : 163 POSB Manual Volume –I
