  18. Documentum Integration The Microsoft SharePoint 2013 Indexing Connector for Documentum enables you to index content that is stored in the EMC Documentum system The Indexing Connector for Documentum: • Is a 64-bit connector based on the SharePoint 2013 Search Connector Framework. • Supports multiple versions of EMC Documentum Content Server. • Indexes Documentum objects and object metadata. • Supports Documentum security definitions and policies. • Supports Windows PowerShell for automated configuration and administration.. • Has a configurable search results URL to support multiple Documentum client applications. • Supports file and folder exclusion for crawling.

  19. SalesForce Integration Using the SalesForce Web service, WCF service wrapper is created with all the necessary operations. SharePoint 2013 BCS WCF connector can be used to consume the data from the WCF wrapper. External Content Types are created using the WCF connector. External lists can be created using the ECT for displaying the SalesForce information eg: contacts. SharePoint search can be used for searching the SalesForce content.

  20. Test Mailbox Migration • Quest Notes Migrator (Trial Version) would be used for PoC • Limitations of Trial Version • The trial version of Notes Migrator for Exchange has limitations built into the product as follows: • 30 day time limit. • All migrated messages contain a Quest Software stamp in the subject. • Only 5 contacts can be migrated from the address book. • Only 1 week worth of future calendar appointments will be migrated.

  21. Hardware & Software Requirements The components that are not present currently in DEV are marked in Blue. Microsoft MSDN Premium licenses would be used for the PoC for Exchange & Lync. Exchange, Lync, Outlook Recommended minimum configuration for the PoC is mentioned below. • One VM running Windows Server 2008 R2/2012 - SQL database server for Lync with 150 GB Hard disk and 8 GB RAM, Processor: 4 core 2.33GHz, Network Card: Single. 28. Estimates Cost is exclusive of any applicable taxes such as VAT, state tax etc. * Version 1.2 changes - Reduction in scope (High Availability, Skype Federation) in PoC. ** Version 1.3 Changes - Addition in scope for production implementation design of Lync & Exchange 2013. *** Version 1.4 Changes - Addition in scope for large mailbox test migration.

  29. Assumptions & Dependencies • Development environment for the PoC will be set up in North America. • Gen Re will provide necessary workplace, network access and privileges to TCS consultants to carry out the POC. • TCS has provided the hardware, software requirements assuming 100 users for outlook and Lync enablement. • 100 users will be enabled for IM/Presence/Desktop sharing, File Transfer, Persistent Chat, P2P voice and P2P Video. • Exchange and Lync 2013 will be deployed in the existing enterprise environment. • PoC can be demonstrated using evaluation version as well. TCS would follow the instructions from Gen Re from a license procurement perspective. • POC will be done on Production environment since CUCM is not available in development environment for Lync to CISCO integration. Needs to be discussed with Gen Re on the feasibility of using production environment. • Hardware and software licenses will be provided by Gen Re. • Admin access and test accounts will be provided by Gen Re. • For Lync to CISCO integration and Active Directory changes, baseline capacity will be utilized. • TCS has assumed one workflow of medium complexity for demonstration of the workflow use case. • Nouser migration will be done in this PoC. • Existing SharePoint capacity will be utilized for onsite-offshore coordination.

  30. Assumptions & Dependencies • Use Case for demonstrating Yammer capabilities is considered out of scope for this PoC • Access to SalesForce Developer/SOAP Web Services and Documentum/DFS development environments will be available for PoC for integration use cases – Also integration use cases are assumed to be read-only, one way search from SharePoint to Documentum and SalesForce • Likely extent of customizations that may be necessitated depends on user feedback and acceptance/non acceptance of out of box features – may not be possible to accommodate all of such potential customizations during PoC phase • Desktop Browsers assumed for PoC would be IE 9. • Mobility PoCs to be restricted only to latest supported devices and to restricted use cases. iOS/ WP8 will be used in this PoC. • It is assumed that there are no multilingual requirements for any of the Use Cases (only English assumed). • Access to development environment would be available for the offshore team to carry out the PoC. • Any third party add-ons/products be required/recommended for evaluation during PoC – trial or licensed versions, these would be procured by Gen Re. Additional time/effort may be necessitated for such evaluations including the required infrastructure which is not included in the current estimates • Gen Re to provide the large mailboxes (3-4, 20-25GB) in Dev lotus notes environment for test migration. • Trail Version of Quest Notes Migration tool would be used for the PoC. • Cost estimates for production implementation of Exchange & Lync would include H/W, S/W, Implementation, Migration, QA, Training & Support costs. • Gen Re to provide necessary inputs about licensing agreement with Microsoft for arriving at the H/W & S/W cost estimates.
