New Life Bible Institute Winter Courses 2012

1. New Life Bible Institute Winter Courses 2012 N.L.B.I This is a three-year diploma course of study, which includes 18 classes. Each quarter lasts between 8 & 10 weeks, and each class meets weekly for about 1 ½ hours. There is a one-time registration fee of $25.00 and $80.00 per class ($70.00 each for two) for books and course materials. The first class meeting is scheduled for Saturday, January 21, 2012 and meets weekly (exact meeting dates/times to be determined by students and instructor) for about eight sessions.  You may sign up for one or both classes by calling the numbers below, or by completing the registration form that will be in the church bulletin and give to Minister McClung or Ms. Thompson, the Church Secretary. PERSONAL EVANGELISM: The question in this course is “What is personal evangelism, and why is it important?” We need a definition that will narrow down the definite limits, and yet enable us to see the breadth of the total work of evangelism today. How are we to minister to people on a spiritual level at their level? Our best teacher on this subject is Jesus Christ, the Master disciple winner. We will be dealing with the personal responsibilities of the soul winner, and the process by which scriptural evangelism should take place. EARLY ISRAELITE HISTORY: This Old Testament course is comprised of lectures and self-study on the Books of Joshua, Judges, and Ruth. God promised that, just as He had been with Moses, He would be with Joshua. There was only one condition that Joshua had to meet. He was to obey the Word without deviation. Judges covers 300 years of history, from Joshua’s death to the death of Samson, the last of the 13 judges. The book of Ruth is a love story. This book gives to us a picture of the wonderful relationship that exists between Christ and His Church.
