Needs • Observer Program and port sampling support: • program coordination/management and capacity building including for coordinators, trainers and de-briefers as well as observers and samplers; • e-reporting and direct data entry capability. • SPRFMO: technical advice and attendance at associated meetings.
Needs • Scientific support: • data entry and e-reporting; • analyses including data management & stock assessment • delivery of national oceanic fishery reports • greater understanding oceanography & ecosystems • Delimitation: • support for discussions with neighboring countries on resolution of over-lapping boundary claims; • legal advice including deposit of coordinates with the UN.
