To tackle the Issue… • Dialogs at Ministerial level & Agencies Research (Agence Nationale pour la Recherche, Institut Telecom, SFTAG, ASSISTH), Solidarity (CNSA : National Agency for Solidarity & Autonomy) , Economy & Finance (CGTI : french ITC Council) Health (HAS : french Health Authority) …to adress joinly these questions Global Village Initiative - Paris 2008
To tackle the Issue… • Reports (CGTI) • Working groups, with Support from Scholars (ITC, Management Sciences & Economy) • Follow up of international Initiatives Global Village Initiative - Paris 2008
An on-going Process • First CGTI Report in August 2007 • First Event in November 2007: 150 participants (R&D, Industry) • Preparation of an Enquiry about Market indicators (on going), with the participation of Scholars, CNSA, DPH (Delegation for desabled people) Global Village Initiative - Paris 2008
An on-going Process • 2d Event in february 2008, in line with the first europeean AAL Call : 300 participants, representing the all Stakeholders • National consultative process • Scheduled in 2008 • Working groups for the evaluation of the 2005 law on disability • CGTI to lead the group « Accessibility » Global Village Initiative - Paris 2008
First (still intangibles) Results • High level of participation/involvement • Business contacts, mutual understanding (including within the Industry itself) • Emerging AAL projects, at european & international level Global Village Initiative - Paris 2008
