  3. Energies Involved • mgh -> .5kΔx² -> mgh -> .5kΔx² -> mgh = mechanical energy • 1st the car on the ramp • 2nd the springing of the first trap • 3rd the falling of bottles • 4th the springing of the second trap • 5th the fall of the weights • Finally, the displacement of 1kg

  4. Set Backs • Deriving how to orientate each bottle to create a flawless result. • Deciding the weight of the key stone of the elevator pulley in order to pull the weight in 10 seconds. • Determining how to make the key stone fall.

  5. Conclusions • Despite the mental strains caused from various set backs, watching the machine work once was worth all the effort. • Beer bottles can still cause a lot of headaches despite being empty for many days.
