  2. WHAT IS A VEHICLE LOADING CRANE? A Vehicle Loading Crane is a crane mounted on the vehicle for the purpose of loading and unloading items on or off the vehicle. Also they are used for other traditional crane operations in a number of industries. Vehicle Loading Cranes can be used at the workplaces to unload the raw material and to load the manufactured material on the other truck or vehicle at the workplaces. Beside this they can also be used at the ports for loading and unloading of the materials. OPERATOR COMPETENCY AND LICENSING In order to operate Vehicle Loading Crane, the operator must be trained and qualified to operate the crane. He or she must hold a High Risk Work Licence from SafeWork NSW to operate a Vehicle Loading Crane that has a capacity of 10 meters tonnes or more. If the operator have not a High Risk Work Licence for a Vehicle Loading Crane then he'll be not allowed to operate the same. As per the SafeWork NSW it is required to have a valid licence if you want to operate a Vehicle Loading Crane in Sydney, New South Wales. WHY IT IS REQUIRED TO HAVE A VEHICLE LOADING CRANE LICENCE? In order to prevent the injuries at the workplace, SafeWork NSW has made it required to have a valid licence. In the past few years, SafeWork has recorded serious injuries and deaths at the workplace due to the negligence of training standards. They found that the operators are not trained very well and they are causing injuries and loss to the property at the WorkPlace. So, SafeWork NSW has made it required to have a valid operating licence in order to operate a Vehicle Loading Crane or any other heavy machines in New South Wales. GET SKILLED IN 2019 !

  3. HOW TO GET A VEHICLE LOADING CRANE LICENCE? In order to get a Vehicle Loading Crane Licence in NSW you have to complete the basic Vehicle Crane Loading Training and assessment from the recognised training organisation. After passing the training and assessment you'll rewarded with a certification of accomplishment of the Vehicle Loading Crane Licence Course. After getting the certification, you can apply for the High Risk Work Licence by lodging an application by visiting at nearby post office. DURATION AND FEES OF THE COURSE The average duration of the Vehicle Loading Crane Course is one day only. However it can vary from training organisation to organisation. The training and assessment will be conducted on the same day. The average fee of the course is $500. Under this course fee you'll be provided with all kind of the training material.   4. LEARNING OUTCOME FROM THE COURSE On completion of the the training, you'll be able to plan the crane operations at the workplace. Also you'll be able to setup the Outriggers and lifting equipment in the Vehicle Loading Crane. With this you'll be able to transfer the loads and conclude operations at site specific procedures. CONDITIONS FOR ASSESSMENT Applicants to be at least 18 years Able to produce sufficient identification with name and photo (ie drivers licence, passport etc).
