  17. HIGHLIGHTS :2012 First SemPOVERTY STATISTICS On the average, a poor family of five in Region XII needs an additional monthly income of P3,225 or about P645 per person to move out of poverty.

  21. HIGHLIGHTS :2012 First SemPOVERTY STATISTICS Among the 17 regions in the country, only Caragaand Region II posted significant decreases in poverty incidence between the 1st semesters of 2009 and 2012, and 2006 and 2009, respectively. 43.3 34.1 (9.2)*
