ACVA Proposal • What will look different: • Curriculum aligned more closely to what we teach • Local Teachers staffed to facilitate classes • Paid stipend • Work outside school day • Lab Proctors will no longer manage curriculum and gradebooks • IC Courses will meet NCAA guidelines • ACVA Staff will enroll and monitor students • Take on other responsibilities currently on high school guidance staff

  4. ACVA Proposal • What will look the same: • Students will continue to be your students • ACVA is not a school • Students can continue to report to labs during the school day • Students may also work on courses outside of the school day • Flexible enrollment dates

  5. ACVA Proposal • Timeline • Year 1 • Contract with SCVP for IC and CR Courses • Continue contract with APEX for Alternative Ed. • Year 2 • Enrollment from other districts • Year 3 • Full time Virtual Students • Evaluate APEX Contract
