AECAP Federal Purpose • Develop and test models for State planning, leadership development, and interagency coordination to expand Adult Education • Identify the factors that underlie successful State and local activities in strategic planning and interagency coordination • Develop a plan for disseminating the models and findings of the project, including the preparation of a written guide and the conduct of a symposium at the end of the project AECAP Project Overview for Fall Conference of AEL Directors

State AECAP Objectives • Develop formalized improvements to the referral process from Missouri Career Center to AEL and AEL to Career Center • Integrate staff and customer “focus groups” into this development process • Assess other customer interaction needs (such as referral criteria) • Use “discovery” to design DWD ToolBox as referral tool AECAP Project Overview for Fall Conference of AEL Directors
