What is AAGIS? • Service oriented organization • Bring together users at any level in public, private and educational sectors who are interested in geo-technology • This group will facilitate open dialogue, public awareness, educational resources, data sharing, professional growth and representation • Assist its membership in their everyday jobs

GIS Day San Antonio • www.sagisday.com • Students, Professionals, and the Community learning and sharing GIS knowledge • Exhibitors covering a variety of GIS uses • Over 300 students, 100 volunteers, and many professionals participated in last years event • La Villita Assembly Hall, November 18th

  6. Membership Requirements • Be a member of SCAUG ($30 Standard, $15 Student) • Attend at least 2 meetings a year

  7. Membership Benefits • Voting privileges • Serve as an Officer or Board Member • Access to all SCAUG members over 5 states • Discounted trainings and conferences • Access to TWO organizations
