  2. My Class – Student Expectations • Homework assigned – M,W,Th,F • Mostly from textbook. • CW becomes HW if not finished. • Homework gets a stamp, keep in book as a record and to study • Notebook • Notes, Classwork gets a stamp, keep in notebook as a record and to study

  3. Information about the course • Textbook – California GO Math • 15 Modules – Will go mostly in order • Modules 1 – 4 old Pre-Algebra course • Modules 5 – 8 used to be first semester of Old Algebra Course • Modules 9 – 13 Part of old Geometry Course • Modules 14 -15 Statistics

  6. Helping your student • Check their progress through schoology on a weekly basis. Link is on Nobel webpage. • Subscribe to my webpage. Will give you daily update on hw. • Ask to see the planner regularly. • Ask to see their Notebook which should: have a table of contents, be organized, in order and complete. • Ask to see stamped homework • and classwork. • Email me if you notice anything unusual or if you have question.

Studying for an exam • Review notes, Classwork and and Homework. • Study my Quizlet flashcards • Have student make their own Quizlet flashcards • Go to online textbook edition and click on the personal math trainer for the parts that they don’t understand. • Do the interactive student edition for the module we are testing on.
