The Largest Performance Gap Bookstore hours are convenient for adult students 2002 2004 Importance = 6.40 6.36 Satisfaction = 4.16 2.71 Performance Gap = 2.24 3.65 The bookstore was an identified problem area in 2002 and the situation has not improved and in fact, has become much worse
Class Schedules A prevalent theme in 2002, and again verified in 2004, is that our Students are not able to readily schedule and register for classes on the CCC. As a result, students have become more dissatisfied with “Service Excellence” on the CCC. Students have indicated that they often Get the “run-around” and are generally unaware of whom to contact regarding questions and concerns.

Campus Item Questions: I would prefer to take classes in the: 2002 2004 Early Day: 8am-2pm Mon-Fri 31.74% 23.30% Afternoon: 2pm-6pm Mon-Fri 10.67% 17.33% Evening: 6pm-10pm Mon-Thurs 51.69% 54.83% Weekend: Fri Eve, Sat & Sun 5.9% 4.26% It is important to note that 42% (2002) and 40% (2004) of CCC students would prefer to take classes before 6pm.
What does all of this tell us? • 40% of students surveyed would prefer to take classes during day time hours (8am – 6pm) - only 26% of the classes surveyed were offered during the day • The dominant majority (81%) of CCC students surveyed state that is important and/or very important to be able to attend all of their classes on the CCC
