Featuring material which is made from black EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber, Jacob UK can provide flexible sleeves for their hose connections. The EPDM material features a low electrical resistance that makes it electrostatically conductive. It can be made with additional pressure resistance if requested and has a temperature resistance between -30°C and 120°C. Jacob UK’s hose connections are a part of their FOOD GRADE range and have three different materials that you can choose from depending on your needs. You can choose from either hot-dip galvanised, powder coated or stainless steel, with two versions available being 1.4301 (304) and 1.4307 (304L). Type 304 of stainless steel is known for being the most versatile and most used type of stainless steel.

  2. Their hose connections have a range of various DN (Diameter Nominal) ranging from 50 to 315 and come available with a thickness size of 1mm. Their stainless-steel material used in the Jacob FOOD GRADE range meets the full quality standards and requirements of the European regulation EC 1935/2004 and the American FDA (Food and Drug Administration). The Jacob accessories also include stainless-steel hose clamps designed for their flexible sleeves and are available in diameters ranging from 60mm to 300mm, and have galvanised and stainless- steel special hose clamps to be used with the Jacob PU hose. Designed to be used with Jacob UK’s hose sockets, their hose plugs are available in stainless or galvanised steel options.
