  2. Directions: -Once the statement is shown on the screen, you will go to the ‘agree’ or ‘disagree’ side of the room. -TWO people from EACH side must explain WHY they agree. -You can move to the other side if you are convinced/persuaded -Remain RESPECTFUL to the person who is talking.

  3. #1 We learn the most important values in life from our parents and family.

  4. #2 Society has a responsibility to keep everyone safe from violence, regardless of who is causing the violence to happen.

  5. #3 Rich families have fewer problems than poor families.

  6. #4 Parents know what is best for their children, and children (even teens) should listen to their parents advice & follow it.

  7. #5 You should know someone a long time before you get married to them.

  8. #6 If you are always joking around with your friends, then your friends won’t know when to take you seriously.

  9. #7 Children aren’t able to teach adults anything because the adults have been around longer, are wiser, and know what to do.

  10. #8 Old literature and movies aren’t useful for learning anymore because they’re really hard to read and they’re about old topics that don’t apply to us today.
