The above parameters are selected from Evaluation Guidelines of National Board of Accreditation for UG programs-Tier-II.

Entrepreneurship initiatives • Workshop on “Equipping Engineering graduates for industry” on 12th June 2012 • MoU signed with Mercedes Benz • Advanced Diploma Course ADAM course was started • Training of selected students from ECE students in BSNL started (4 batches over) • Workshop on Entrepreneurship on Entrepreneurship Day 2013. • Applications invited from Alumni and students of GECBH as incubators • Inauguration of TBI is scheduled • MoU with Vi- Microsystems scheduled on 23/10/2014 • Training on Embedded systems and Robotics scheduled

Faculty research publications(Assessment of FRP = 4 × (Sum of the research publication points scored by each faculty member)/N(Instruction: A faculty member scores maximum five research publication points each year, depending upon the quality of theresearch papers published in the past three years.) The research papers considered are those (i) which can be located oninternet and/or are included in hard-copy volumes/ proceedings, published by well-known publishers, and (ii) the faculty member’s affiliation, in the published paper, is of the current institution.
Funded R&D projects and consultancy (FRDC) work(Assessment of R&D and consultancy projects = 4 × (Sum of FRDC by each faculty member)/N , Instruction: A faculty member gets maximum five points each year, depending upon the amount of funds and/or c o n t r i b u t i o n s made. Language Lab • At present, the lab has a seating capacity of 10 (9 students and one tutor). • The procurement process for equipment and software required for the lab is going on. • The lab will function as a means of improving the communication skills of the students of the college, especially the weaker sections.
Feedback analysis(how do you do it? Reward/corrective measures) • Online feedback system is introduced to evaluate the performance of faculty at the end of the semester. • In addition the online feedback, two intermediate feedbacks from students are obtained to monitor the performance of the faculty and facilities available. • Performance Monitoring System (PMS) is developed in the institution and approved in the 10th BoG meeting held on 25th September 2014. • PMS is meant for the feedback about all faculty, technical staff and ministerial staff of the institution

Facilities for Sports and Games • Athletics- University Stadium is provided for regular training for athletics • Shuttle Badminton-Provide outdoor facilities at the College premises and at the Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium. For Indoor training CET Indoor facilities are using. • Volleyball- Learning and Training facilities provided to students at the College and at the University Stadium • Cricket- Net practice training is at University stadium and Govt.
