  3. Description The ASI-176-1 Digital DME Indicator Test Set provides a capability for bench testing many common types of DME Indicators, Receiver / Transmitters, and Auxiliary equipment. DME is an acronym describing an airborne navigation system. It spells out to be ‘Distance Measuring Equipment’. DME Indicators, R/Ts, and Auxiliary Equipment
