Description of Battery • Tests are presented by sign and written form • Signs are standardized based on pilot field site comments • Written items are standardized to the 3rd grade level
Item Example • You see a police car behind you with flashing red lights. You pull over to the side of the road. The police officer begins to talk to you. You do NOT understand the officer. You should: • reach in your glove compartment for a pencil and paper • tell the officer you are deaf • reach for the officer's pencil and paper
