Student Learning Outcomes • The Florida Board of Governors (BOG) requires learning outcomes assessment (termed Academic Learning Compacts or ALCs) at the undergraduate level as detailed in BOG Regulation 8.016. Internally, USF System Policy 10-060 supports the BOG mandate by requiring ALCs for all undergraduate academic programs. • 3 knowledge and skill areas: content, communication, critical thinking

Assessment Activities: Both Degrees - BSIT, BSAS in IT By November 2, 2015 – Extension • Finalize 2014-15 Assessment Report • Review Mission • Review Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs or ALCs) – based on ABET? • Determine Means of Assessing Outcomes • Submit 2015-16 Assessment Plan Fall 2015/Spring 2016: Collect Student Outcome Data from tests, projects, surveys, etc. Summer 2016: Score student work; IR adds data to tables Fall 2016: Review student outcome data and finalize 2015-16 assessment report. Cycle starts again with new assessment plan for 2016-17.
