  1. Assignment 4 VWO • Background information: • November 22th 2006 parliament elections in the Netherlands. Till what extend and how are the different political parties considering certain subjects.

  2. The subjects: • Policies (national, european) about agriculture • Turkey as a memberstate of the european Union • Common European Legislation • Subject by own choice (football, ballet, bullfighting et cetera)

  3. Proces: • You will collect and use 8 newspaper articles, and the points of view from only 2 parties. • Explain, using the articles, the point of view of the 4 subjects by those 2 parties • Research the partyprograms: what kind of information do the programs give on the 4 subjects?

  4. Proces: • Are the programs and the newspapers reviewing common information • You have to write an essay with the theme: should there be, or not, a common European Legislation? Use 4 newspaper articles to underline your opinion

  5. Discussion at home during dinner: • Discuss whit your parents: • Should it be possible for Turkey to enter the European Union? Why/why not? • Are your parents in favour of a common European Legislation? Why/ why not
