Permit the use of cast iron, malleable iron, or ductile iron plugs or balls in combination with steel shell components. Pressure-containing shell components (body, bonnet, cover, or end flange) may not be made of these materials.
Allow use of a previous pressure test as a basis for increasing the MAOP of steel pipeline when <30% SMYS.
