Computers. A Quite Basic Overview. THe two most important parts. The computer depends on two parts: The power supply, which, obviously gives the computer its power. It can be a battery, or a plug point. The hard drive, which stores the operating system and other important things on it.

  1. Computers A Quite Basic Overview

  2. THe two most important parts • The computer depends on two parts: • The power supply, which, obviously gives the computer its power. It can be a battery, or a plug point. • The hard drive, which stores the operating system and other important things on it.

  3. Random Access memory • Random Access Memory (RAM) is where all of your files are stored. A random access device allows data to be stored and accessed quickly in any random order.

  4. CD's and DVD's • CD's (compact discs) is an optical, round disc used to store data. Usually, you can only add memory once and then, only view it. Now, there are re-writable CD's that allow you to add/delete memory more than once on the CD. • DVD's were invented and developed by Phililps, Sony, Toshiba, and Panosonic in 1995. They are normally used to store and watch videos, movies, and slide shows .

AND I WILL CALL YOU A BAD PERSON FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, AND I WILL CALL THE POLICE AND TELL THEM TO TAKE YOU TO JAIL IF YOU ALREADY HAVEN'T BEEN THERE FOR HACKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. tHE OPERATING system • The operating system is the piece of software that controls your computer. If you didn't have an operating system, your computer would be worthless (unless you are REALLY good at programming I can't program, by the way.).
