  2. 1 STEP 1: Get Email 2 STEP 2: Log into Coeus and go to Inbox 3 STEP 3: Find and Review Proposal 4 STEP 4: Approve OR Reject

  3. You will receive a message in your regular UC e-Mail inbox informing you there is a Coeus proposal for you to review. Step 1 Be sure to set your email so messages from coeus@uc.edu don’t go into your “junk” email folder. Hyperlink will open to the CoeusLite log-in screen You must be in UC’s network to access CoeusLite. Back

  4. Step 2 Enter your UC Central Login and password

  5. Step 2 Navigate to Inbox

  6. Step 2 Select anywhere on the bluetitle or number to open the Approver Summary screen Inbox opens to Unresolved Messages Back

  7. Step 3 Select where you want to go next

  8. Further down the page you can reviewbudget information – including cost share Step 3 Select “View” for any document youwish to open • Documents not submitted to the sponsor are uploaded to Internal UC Documents.

  9. Step 3 From here you can review the proposal Select what you want to review If the Grants.gov logo is in upper right corner, you can view the entire Grants.Gov package Note: You are in “view only” mode. If you have comments you may enter them later in the “approve” or “reject” screen.

  10. Step 3 To Print a Grants.gov proposal First, Select Grants.gov from the menu to open the Grants.gov detail screen. When the Grants.gov screen opens, select the forms you wish to view. Then click “Print Selected Forms” to generate a PDF of the Grants.gov package which you can print, save or just view.

  11. To Print a non-Grants.gov proposal Step 3 Then click Print Selected Forms to generate a PDF of the proposal which you can print, save or just view. When the Print detail screen opens, select the forms you wish to view. First, Select Print from the menu to open the Print detail screen. Back

  12. Step 4 You can see the routing and note who has approved (or rejected) as well as who has yet to review the proposal. Click here to read a reviewer’s comments.

  13. Step 4 You can add comments about the proposal here. Click to approve. The proposal will route to the next person/people on the list.

  14. Step 4 You MUST add a comment to reject a proposal. Click to reject. The proposal routing will stop and all prior approvals will be deleted.

  15. Step 4 eMail will be sent if the proposal is rejected. Comments will explain what needs to be changed before resubmitting for approval. After a proposal is rejected and the recommended changes are made, then the approval process starts again.
