  5. NASA Shuttle Title • Prescreening Period 7: Start Date - External prescreening ends - 07/27/2011 (Includes Shuttle, Hubble, Apollo, and International Space Station artifacts).

  6. NASA Artifacts Prescreening Register Universities and Schools can acquire an artifact directly from NASA without the aid of the State Agency for Surplus Property (SASP). You must first Register to receive a User ID and password. To register you will need the Department of Education's statistics tracking number – National Center for Education Statistics - if you are a school). NOTE: If you are acquiring NASA program artifacts by registering with an NCES or IPEDS number, DO NOT request the same artifact through the SASP.

  7. Shipping and Handling Costs The ONLY fee incurred by the recipient for a shuttle tile is for shipping and handling ($23.40). For Federal property accounting purposes, we list the Original Acquisition Cost of the tile, which should not be construed as an additional charge to the recipient
