You will have the opportunity to change your answers to modify these bids. To help you determine what you should bid, we need to learn more about these egg products… …please follow along while we do that…

Cage System • Barn Space Per Hen: 69 square inches per hen • Barn Floor Space Per Hen: less than 69 square inches • Beak Trimming: beaks are trimmed before 10 days of age • Scratching… : no room for scratching / foraging / dustbathing • Nests: no nest availability • Free-Range: no free range • Group size: group size < 7 hens • Type of Feed: chickens are fed non-organic grain

Barn System • BarnSpace Per Hen: 155 square inches per hen • BarnFloor Space Per Hen: 155 square inches per hen • Beak Trimming: beaks are trimmed before 10 days of age • Scratching… : scratching / foraging / dustbathing room (1.35 square feet / hen) • Nests: individual nests with bedding • Free-Range: no free range • Group Size: group size > 3000 hens, perches not available • Type of Feed: chickens are fed non-organic grain
