Participation • Application process required to participate in job enrichment program • Completion of all first year pre-requisites • Basic job skills • University policies • University practices (e.g. Kronos, OEEO, MyMiami) • Current, satisfactory performance evaluation • Supervisor approval www.muohio.edu/mycard
Participationcontinued • Written disciplinary notice will disqualify job enrichment participation for one year. • Verbal Reprimand/Warning (different from confirmation of conversation) • Written Reprimand/Warning • Disciplinary suspension will disqualify job enrichment participation for two years. • Suspension
Participationcontinued • Asking for job enrichment materials (such as ordering books/registering for or attending classes/turning in test results/etc), completing point request forms, completing preapproval forms, and actively trying to participate in the JEP while currently disqualified from the program could be construed as dishonest. • Courses completed by an employee who is not in an active pay status are ineligible for job enrichment credit
Curriculum • Determined by job family or position • Required courses • Elective courses • Pre-approval based on job duties per program administrator • Electives that are published on curriculums, have already received pre-approval • Individualized course of study on approval basis • Any courses not published as required or elective, may be submitted for pre-approval http://www.units.muohio.edu/prs/JobEnrichment/Curriculums.html
Submitting Course Work • Completion of Point Request form turned in to your program administrator along with supporting documentation • Course grades, certificate, letter of completion • Returning of all borrowed materials http://www.units.muohio.edu/prs/JobEnrichment/Forms.html
Development Hours • Paid time away from work to participate in job enrichment activities with supervisor approval • Time is dependent on the business needs, determined by supervisors within departments • Development hours are not guaranteed
Awards • Bonus = $500 • Every 50 points • One bonus every 6 months • Up to three bonus awards can be earned without high school diploma or GED • Completion of OEEO trainings (annually) • Current, satisfactory performance evaluation
AwardsContinued • PIP1 = .50/hr • 150 points with payment of 3rd bonus • PIP2 = .60/hr (for a total of $1.10/hr) • 300 points with payment of 6th bonus • PIP3 = .70/hr (for a total of $1.80/hr) • 450 points with payment of 9th bonus
AwardsContinued • Advanced Component = $500 • Every 50 points • One award per calendar year • Participants in the program are required to complete the OEEO trainings and have a current, satisfactory evaluation to receive their award
