  2. System restore je komponenta Microsoftovih operativnih sistema Windows Serveri ne podržavaju opciju System Restore System restore koji je ugrađen u Win XP može instalirati na Win Server 2003 Systemrestore

  3. Tačke povratka su stvorene onda kad : Windows update ažurira windows Kada korisnik instalira drajver koji nije potpisan od strane Microsofta Svaka 24 sata ili 12 sati u Win ME Kada pokrenemo sistem nakon sto je bio isključen duže od 24 sata Kada god to korisnik zahtijeva Systemrestore

  4. System restore možemo pristupiti tako sto ćemo kliknuti Start-All programs-Accessories-System tools-System restore. Otvorit će nam se wellcome screen. Systemrestore

  5. Win XP- kreirane tačke povratka se brišu svakih 90 dana. System restore je konfiguiran da koristi 12 % prostora na hard disku. Win Vista- konfiguriran tako da se ne može koristiti na hard disku koji je manji od 1 GB i koristi 15 % prostora. System restore se može i isključiti tako sto ćemo kliknuti na ikonu My Computer desnim klikom i onda izabrat opciju Properties, odabrati System restore tab i izabrati opciju Turn off System Restore Systemrestore

  6. Ponekad se može desiti da nam zatreba prostora na hard disku, pa radi tog možemo da obrišemo one fajlove koje system restore snima na naš hard disk. To ćemo učiniti na sljedeći način : kliknemo na Start->All Programs->Accessories->System Tools->Disk Cleanup. Trebamo da selektiramo disk C: Systemrestore

  7. Kod Win XP Systemrestore se ne može koristiti ukoliko nismo u stanju da normalno ili u safe modu pokrenemo sistem Win Vista se može koristiti Systemrestore ukoliko sistem nije moguce pokrenuti. Za to je zaslužan Windows RecoveryEnvironment ili skraćeno WinRE. Nalazi se kod novih Windowsa kao sto su Vista, Win 7, Windows Server 2008.a Systemrestore
