So now what do we do? • - Think about Christ’s love for us • - Remember that Christ took our punishment and redeemed us • - Remember that sin separates me from God • - Remember that our sin caused Christ to die for us • - Repent from my sin and try to stop it • - Confess my sin to a priest

Tenth plague What happens to the Israelites? Blood of a perfect male lamb When God’s angel sees the blood he would pass over that house. The “Passover” became a day that was to be celebrated each year to remember God’s Salvation. The Israelites crossed from slavery to freedom. They were saved with the blood of the lamb. Passover Lamb
“And when I see the blood, I will pass over you” (Exodus 12:13).
Who does the Passover Lamb point to? "For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.” (1 Corinthians 5:7)

But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs.” John 19:32-33 They did not break any of its bones
Passover Lamb Our Lord Jesus Christ The entire household had to eat from it, not leaving any leftovers to the next day We all have to eat His body and drink His blood. After He died, Jesus’ body did not remain on the cross
Passover Lamb Our Lord Jesus Christ On the cross, Jesus redeemed us and gave us a new life. We passed from the bondage of sin to freedom. By His blood we were saved. We passed from death into life. To commemorate passing from Pharaoh's slavery to freedom and the start of a new life
