DNSC Agency Status • Research in Denmark has been reorganized • Governmental research labs are fused with universities • Danish National Space Center (DNSC) is now a unit of the Danish Technical University (DTU) • DNSC is now >110 employees, with ~25 added from DTU, strengthening space instrumentation capabilities • DNSC’s status as ”Agency” • National space actors are organized in a ”Danish Space Consortium”, with DNSC as the coordinator • DNSC maintains the contact to the Ministry of Research and Innovation • DNSC and the Space Consortium act as advisors on priorities for participation in ESA’s voluntary programs and appointment of representatives to various ESA boards • DNSC and the Consortium give advice to the Ministry on future directions and initiatives Emne | 5. januar 2005 | ILWS – Uppsala 12-06-2007 | side 2
