Village Aggregation Centres Farmer/ trader/cooperative Storage-Warehousing 80% payment and 20% After grain is sold and Part of the profit shared Financing-Bank • Storage/Warehousing company is licensed and registered. It charges storage fees (per month/season and per MT) • On deposit of grain/cereals farmer obtain a “storage receipt” • Farmer is paid upfront 80% of the value of the grain as at deposit time and 20% after grain is sold and some profit shared. • Warehouses can be linked online using SMS and/or IT
