Booking At Parties • This should always be your goal • Consider a booking incentive, I use rosettes and an extra gift for the hostess • Be sure to go into party with RECRUIT, BOOK, SELL attitude • Use back to front format when doing your presentation • Stress rewards of being a hostess
Make it Fun! • Consider a theme party-lots of examples on team website • Ice breaker or game at your parties • Get to know the guests-show an interest in them so they feel invested in you • Be sure to spend time celebrating your hostess • Non verbals speak louder than words sometimes
Why You Need to Keep a Consistent Schedule • Need $1,000 in PV and $4,000 in TS • Parties are the lifeblood of our business and everything flows through them – a must for recruiting and growing your team • You’ll want to over book yourself during your 3 months you are working on your bonus

Hostess Coaching • Increase party attendance • Coach the hostess to a $1,200 party • Encourage outside orders before the party
Increase Attendance • More people + more orders=higher party total • Average guest spend is $60.52 8 peeps $484 • Adding just 1 guest takes it to $545 up $121 • Adding 2 guests increases total to $605 up $181.54 or 43% • Aim to add 2 more guests to every party
Ways to Increase Attendance • Have an incentive for bringing a guest • Set a goal for your hostess - X number of outside orders and or X number of buying guests she gets extra product • Invite 40+ people and follow up • Create a need for people to attend FB events are great for this • Methods of inviting- passive or active
Coach to a $1,200 Party • Show her what she needs to do to get to the goal - break it down for her based on average order and number of peeps she will need • Show her the value of the $1,200 party and explain the benefits, use flyers provided • Many calls on TOT with specifics on this topic and the words to use
Encourage Outside Orders • Set up a link and encourage her to share with friends and family who may live out of city/state • Give her a goal to meet • Give her the words to say when following up to collect outside orders • Make sure she has what she needs
Give Her the Words • “Oh, I am sorry you can’t make it! We will miss you! Would you like to place an order now? I just think that the picnic thermal would be perfect for you when you take your drinks to the beach!” BUT why stop there? • Help the hostess group the items, something to the effect of “Oh, I am so sorry you can’t make it! We will miss you! I know you would have loved the picnic thermal and large utility tote for when you attend your daughter’s softball games! You know – they have an amazing special this month and I could take your order and you could then get the monthly special as a birthday gift for someone! Do you have someone who is having a birthday coming up?”
