Reflective journal entries for each session at Sacred Heart Elementary School 3. Two observations of a math lesson at a public school (one in grade 1, 2, or 3 and one in grade 4, 5, or 6) 4. Report for each observation at a public school
Sessions • At beginning of each session, engage in “Today’s Date.” • Session 1 • Guess My Rule • Which One Doesn’t Belong? • Basic Facts Book and Story Book • Session 2 • Attribute Piece Puzzle • Barnyard Story • Roads To Reasoning and Assessment Using Rubrics • Session 3 • Lesson Plan you craft (Fractions) • Session 4 • Function Machine • Game that you design (Team Teaching)
Journal Entries • 1. What did you do? • 2. What went well? • 3. What would you do differently and why? • 4. What questions did you pose? • 4. What were some of the student responses and what did their responses tell you about their thinking/understanding of the topic?
