(STRATEGIC) ISSUE(S)/CONCERN(S) TO ADDRESS • Undisciplined traffic law enforcers to strictly implement traffic laws and regulation. • Option1: Continuous education and training of traffic law enforcers • Option2: Higher qualification standard for traffic law enforcers • Option3: Increase the basic salary and incentive of the traffic law enforcers • Alternative1:Hands-on supervisor • Alternaltive2: Strict recruitment process for the traffic law enforcers • Alternative3: Strictly implement rewards and punishment • Undisciplined motorist and disregard of traffic laws and regulations • Option1: Proper education to all individual during processing of driver’s license and transport franchising • Option2: Continuous info drive on traffic laws and regulations • Option3: Refresher training and seminar for all those who will renew drivers license • Alternative1: Revise policy on traffic laws and regulations • Alternaltive2: Translation of traffic rules and regulations and examination to local dialects • Alternative3: Increase penalty rate scheme for traffic violation committed

(STRATEGIC) ISSUE(S)/CONCERN(S) TO ADDRESS • Unregulated issuance of driver license and franchising of public transport • Option1:Raise the standard minimum qualification for driver license • Option2: Control vehicle roadworthiness by year of manufacture (10 years) • Option3: Vehicle coding scheme and truck ban scheduling. • Alternative1: Recidivist traffic violators shall be restricted for driving. • Alternative2: Regulate issuance of franchise to old public transport • Alternative 3. Review guidelines on the franchising of public transport. • Poor urban planning and development • Option1: Construct alternate, circumferential roads and skyways/ interchange to decongest traffic • Option2:Invest on the Integrated Traffic Monitoring System (ITMS), Digital Traffic Control System (DTCS). • Option3: Integrate planning and implementation of basic utility works (water, power, comms) • Alternative1: Establishment of infra development projects shall be in consonance to the Urban Development Plan. • Alternative2: Upgrade or repair defective traffic monitoring equipment • Alternative3: Implement Zoning system for development
