  15. Prof. George Warrek had exceptional artistic abilities. Here he is pictured in 1962 with his bronze sculpture titled “Tarantella”.

  18. Jack McWilliams was the first Seminar Room Director (1968-1970) and also the proprietor of La Casa del Libro in Old San Juan until 1988.

  19. Brother Raymond McQuade, Marianist monk, was Seminar Room Director from 1970-1972. He currently lives in Texas.

  20. Prof. Marion Cumpiano, internationally recognized Americanist and Joycean scholar, directed the Seminar Room from 1972 to 1976. She passed away in 2001. 2001

  31. The Seminar Room, originally housed in the Sebastian González García building, moved to Pedreira 107 (now 108) in 1983. The collection was in boxes until 1984 and not fully organized until 1991.
