  2. Intro Singapore, A country full of heritage, high-rise buildings and landscaped gardens.Nice and clean, with beautiful ocean views and calming tropical weather. what once was a colony of Britain is now a cosmopolitan city of today.

  3. History ~little is known before the 14th century. ~It was founded by a Malaysian King from sumatra. ~Its name came from an encounter of a Lion and and Sang Nila Utamain in search for possible city sites. ~Singapore became a colony of the UK around 1826, but were free to do as they pleased.

  4. A history continued ~During WWII the Japanese occupied the Island ~In 1945 the british came back at the surrender of the Japanese ~Fed up, Singapore became an independent country August 9th 1965.

  5. Climate ~Average temp is around 78.8 F, hot and humid Tropical weather ~rainfall all year round as the island is in the path of 2 monsoons ~Its is near the equator and is not exposed to cold sea currents.

  6. Flora and Fauna ~The conditions give warm moist conditions , good for vegetation. ~most plants are imported for unique shade and colour. ~House Geckos can be seen on the island. ~Vanda Miss Joaquim

  10. Main exports no natural resources. Main resource is people. -businesses and commercial sectors -only 1% are farmers or fishermen. May become a Financial center in the future.
