You can obtain the skills you need to have a successful career in your preferred field. Upon completing a program at the technical college level, your certificate and/or license will be recognized by the National Council on Occupational Education. Our preparation programs are available at multiple locations in Miami-Dade County, including seven (7) technical colleges. Studies cut across several levels and allow you to choose the specialized area you would like to focus on. We offer courses in Construction & Apprenticeship; Commercial Arts & 3D Animation; Business Administration; Licensed Childcare; Health Occupations; Culinary Arts; and Cosmetology. Courses are also available in Early Childhood Education; Information Technology; Manufacturing; Transportation; Public Safety & Security. Our set of programs also include: Major Appliance Repair; Commercial Vehicle Driving (CDL); Automation and Production Technology; Heavy Equipment Operation and Marine Mechanics. We can help you prepare to take the citizenship exam, learn English as a second language or help you attain fluency which will be needed to get into the workforce. In addition, we develop programs that will get you adequately equipped for the GED or a High School Diploma. Several of our centers offer the GED and high school completion testing, in addition to various industry exams, including CDA, CISCO, CCNA, COMPTia, ISCET.

Whether you decide to improve your basic skills or learn a trade, the Adult Education program will provide you with the solid background, tools and technical skills necessary to begin your new career. We offer an effective, economical education covering your tuition, books, and supplies. While we provide a quality education, our tuition rates are the lowest priced in Miami- Dade County. Per trimester, the tuition cost for a full-time Career Technical Education (CTE) student averages $950, or $500 part-time. A student enrolled in a Basic Adult Education program is required to pays only $30 per trimester. Each trimester consist of four (4) months, or a total of 16 weeks. Financial aid and veterans educational benefits are available to those who qualify.
