Measles is a viral disease that can spread rapidly. This is a highly infectious disease caused by the rubeola virus. This is a viral infection that's serious for small children but is easily preventable by vaccine and medication. This disease spreads through the air by respiratory droplets produced by coughing or sneezing from the affected person. Measles symptoms don't appear until 10 to 14 days after exposure this disease.

  1. What are the Symptoms of Measles and How to Prevent it? Measles is a viral disease that can spread rapidly. This is a highly infectious disease caused by the rubeola virus. This is a viral infection that's serious for small children but is easily preventable by vaccine and medication. This disease spreads through the air by respiratory droplets produced by coughing or sneezing from the affected person. Measles symptoms don't appear until 10 to 14 days after exposure this disease. They include cough, runny nose, inflamed eyes, sore throat, fever, and a red, blotchy skin rash and it increases day by day. In the US 188 cases in 2015 affected with this infection.

Get the measles vaccine— you are fully protected against measles with vaccinated and medication. Infants 6-11 months of age should have 1 dose of measles vaccine if traveling internationally. Children in the United States routinely receive measles vaccination at 12-15 months of age children. adults who have not affected with measles or have not been vaccinated should get 2 doses, separated by at least 28 days. You can take Two doses of MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccine are nearly 100% effective for preventing measles. The only measles vaccines available in the United States are the measles- mumps-rubella (MMR) and the measles-mumps-rubella-varicella (MMRV) vaccines.
