Progress • Since 4 July SG we have: 31/7 - contract awarded for CMS supplier 7/8 - tender launched for Hosting / Managed service 3/10 - conducted User & Regulator consultation on commercial aspects 14/10 - consultation results shared with Regulators 30/10 - provided IFA Users with a summary of certain Access Rules principles 30/11 - software design stage completed
CMS Project scope • CMS will handle all IFA commercial aspects, including auctions, credit management, nominations across all timescales LT, D-1, Intraday. • In addition, CMS project requires National Grid / RTE to modify various internal processes, eg: • IS interfaces: • Control Room IS interfaces • Market operator interfaces (eg Elexon, RTE) • Back office systems • ETSO Vista • Documentation: • IFA Access Rules • Operational procedures • SLAs • Processes • Control room functions • Back office process (credit management / invoicing).
Next Steps in 2009 Jan - award contract for Hosting & Managed service Jan-Feb - consult IFA Users on draft Access Rules Feb - Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) Apr-May - Site / User Acceptance Tests (SAT / UAT) May - publish IFA Access Rules June - Availability Testing & User Training July - Go Live
