  1. SAR Notetaker Submitting and Accessing Notes Student Accessibility Resources

  2. Note-takers will be able to submit notes in Accommodate, or through an external drop-off portal. • Access Accommodate by logging on to MyUWF account, searching “Accommodate,” then click on “SAR Accommodate – Student Portal”.

  3. Submitting Notes in Accommodate • Once in Accommodate, click on the “Note-Taker Network” on the top icon bar to upload notes

  4. This will then bring you to your “Note Dropoff” tab. Here you will be able to upload your notes for each class you are assigned. By clicking on the drop down menu on “Courses” this will list all classes you are assigned. Please label your notes with the class ID and the date the notes were taken. Example: “ANT4190 1/25/16” You may leave a note for your student in the description box. In the “Document” section you can click on “Choose File” or “Large Upload” to submit notes. Then click “Submit”

  5. If notes are not taken for class: • Enter the notes label as directed in the previous slide. • Enter the reason in the description field. • Click submit button

  6. External Drop-off Portal • Access the external drop-off portal by navigating to https://uwf-accommodate.symplicity.com/notesdropoff/. • Enter your student email address and choose a course that you are assigned. This will allow the system to accurately match the Note Taker to their applicable Note Library.

  7. Enter note label *Remember to label your notes with the class ID and the date the notes were taken. *Example: “ANT4190 1/25/16” • Enter description if needed

  8. Click Submit

  9. If you need to submit multiple sets of notes, click “submit more notes”

  10. Accessing Submitted Notes • You may access notes you have submitted by logging back into Accommodate, and clicking on “Note Library” under the Note-taker Network tab. • You may search notes submitted by semester, course, or note title.
