How To Configure cPanel SMTP Settings The cPanel SMTP settings include the SMTP mail server and SMTP port. The SMTP stands for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol, and it is responsible for the outgoing emails from your email account. If you wish to configure the SMTP settings for your account in the cPanel host, follow the below- mentioned steps. On your computer, open the default browser and navigate to the cPanel WHM. Under Mail, click the Email Accounts tab. If you have already completed the account setup in the cPanel WHM, select your account from the displayed list and click the More button. Select the Configure Email Client option from the drop-down menu for cPanel SMTP settings. If you have not created your account, navigate to the top of the page and enter your domain name in the Email field. Select the suggested email address from the drop-down menu. Enter a strong password of your email account in the Password field. If you wish to generate a strong password automatically, click the Password Generator button. Select your mailbox quota and click the Create Account button. Once you have created your account, select the same from the displayed list and click the More button. Select the Configure Email Client option from the drop-down menu. On the next screen, navigate to the Manual Settings section.
