Is A Good Environment The Cause Of Faithfulness? • Good Home Cause of Faithful Children? • Luke 15:11-32 • Are Riches The Answer to the Cause of Sin? • Solomon had a magnificent Environment • 1 Kings 10:14; 11:4-10 “he did not keep what the Lord had commanded.” • Garden of Eden – Genesis 2:8 • Man Was Not Guaranteed That He Would Not Sin- Genesis 3:1-19

  4. Is A Good Environment The Cause Of Faithfulness? • “Good environment” alone not the solution to Sin. • Proverbs 30:15 • James 1:13-15 • There is no doubt that a good environment does help to create better people, however, it is not the solution to sin

  5. Is A Bad Environment The Cause Of Sin? • Bad environments & Adverse Conditions can influence but not control one’s actions • Slavery – Genesis 37:2-5,8-11; 42:21; 39:11-20 • Losing it all, an adverse condition to cause us to sin? – Job Chapters 1,2

The Attitude Of The Heart • Situations do not Make Us Sin, but the Wrong Attitude Will Cause us to Sin! • Attitudes That Will Effect Our Behavior: • Rebellious- Jeremiah 5:23 • Obedient – Romans 6:17 • Steadfast – Psalm 57:7; 1 Corinthians 15:58 • Trusting – Proverbs 3:5; Psalm 27:1-14; 1 Corinthians 10:13

It is Not Our Surroundings Nor Environment That Controls us or Causes Us To Sin or Serve The Lord Faithfully • 1 Corinthians 10:13 • Even Under the Worst of Conditions, We Can Keep Ourselves from Sinning & Remain Faithful, IF we Have The Right Attitude of Mind, in Obedience, Faithfulness, Steadfastness & Trustfulness.
