Criminal prosecution Disciplinary measures • for criminal offences as every other citizen, • for those offences which are specifically related to the function of a civil servant • written reprimand • fine • shortening of salary • degrading to a lower rank • removing from civil service Pecuniary liability • The breach of law may cause the liability of the state if a civil servant damages a third private person. • The aim is to encourage the initiative and energy in making decisions of every civil servant.
