O-UE and U-UE Stem-Changers O-UE Like all stem-changing verbs, o-ue stem-changing verbs will have regular endings for AR/ER/and IR verbs. There will not be a stem-change in the nosotros and vosotros forms. The following are common o-ue stem-changers: poder (can, be able to), probar (to try/taste), volver (to return), almorzar (to eat lunch), morir (to die), dormir (to sleep).

  6. U-UE • U-UE • The only u-ue stem-changing verb is jugar (to play).
