You know you don’t understand grace when you: • worry that your day might not go too well because you missed your morning quiet time. • feel reluctant to ask God for something when you’ve just failed again. • don’t see yourself as blameless in God’s eyes. • assume that God’s forgiveness no longer applies to you because you’ve confessed the same sin so many times that you’ve used up all your credit. • are reluctant to ask for things because you think it annoys God. • live with a vague sense of condemnation and God’s disapproval.
