Oil and Natural Gas can be burned to produce heat, light, and other forms of energy
Wood, oil and natural gas are examples of scarce natural resources.
Scarcity • Scarcity is a shortage of something, not enough to meet people’s needs.
Salt is an example of an abundant natural resource. • Abundant means a large supply, more than enough.
Natural Resource • Natural Resources are materials found in nature that people can use.
Conserve • Conserve means to use carefully.
