Day 1 Make sure your bags are packed and your ready for flying! That’s right, day 1 you’ll be spending up in the air. You will flying with United Airlines. The total flight time is around 15 hours and 54 min. The plane will depart at 10:26am. You will then change planes in Washington D.C. You will finally arrive in Tokyo around 4:20pm the next day. Your rental car will be waiting for you at the airport where you can pick it up and drive to your hotel, The Hotel New Otani Tokyo. There you can eat at one of the 30 delicious restaurants and enjoy your night. Get a good nights sleep, there’s an exciting day ahead of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Day 2 For breakfast enjoy the hotels complementary breakfast and if you wish have it brought to your room! THEN…… You will be embarking an exciting adventure. You will be witnessing a sumo wrestling match right in the action. You and your family members will be sitting RINGSIDE (front row) for the entire match. Lunch will be provided for your family. Take the rest of the day off to relax at the hotels soothing hot tub and spa. You may choose your restaurant of choice for dinner.
Day 3 On this day, we have fun for the kids and the adults! The adults will go on a tour to Mount Fuji. You will depart at Akualine and arrive at Daimo Station by bullet train. There you may enjoy the GORGEOUS views and FABULOUS sights. Food for the day is provided. The Hotel will pick you up to leave for the mountain at 8:30am. You will be back to the hotel around 8:00pm. MEANWHILE…. The kids will enjoy a day at the Ueno Zoo. They will have a GUIDED TOUR (don’t worry parents, they won’t be left alone) all through the day including pick up and departure. Ueno Zoo is around 35 acres and has a total of around 2,600 animals! The animals are very unique and love to show off! There is a total of 464 different species that you can look at and enjoy! At the end of the fun-filled day a guide will take them back to the hotel and drop them off at the babysitting service in the hotel until you arrive.
Day 4 Day 4 Day four is another split day. The kids and adults will be doing something different than the other. The kids will enjoy a day of screams and thrills as the venture off to Nagashima Spa, a amusement park in Tokyo. We will have one of our tour guides with them at all time, or if you choose you may go with them. But, If you choose to go with them, you’ll be missing out!!!!!!!! You will be going on a tour of Kyoto, a region of Japan. The tour starts at 8:30 and ends at 10pm.Through the tour you will see the Nijo castle, Kinkakjui Temple, Kyoto imperial palace, Todaji Temple, Deer Park, and the Racvega Shrine. This tour includes a buffet Japanese lunch for you and your companion to enjoy. You’ll be picked up by the hotel, and meet your kids there. NOTE: wheelchair access is available for tour
Day 5 Day 5 Today you will be visiting two islands in Japan. You will depart at 9:00am. During the day there will be a guided tour of Kyushu and Shikoku. Refreshments and meals will be provided. Day 6 Day 6 Today is your last day in Japan. (Not including the flight home.) Today you will visit Hokkaido. To get there you must ride a one and a half hour flight departing at 10am. from Haneda Airport to the Sapporo Chitose Airport. Once in Hokkaido, you will take part in lots of activities. You will visit Goryokaku Koen Park, a star shaped fort that is now surrounded by a park. It has beautiful trees, and great picture spots! You will also visit Sopporo. Sopporo is the capital city in Hokkaido, and is a great sight seeing place. Eat at least one meal in Sopporo, it’s known for it’s DELICIOUS food! You will return back to the hotel around 8-9:00pm. Today is your last day in Japan. (Not including the flight home.) Today you will visit Hokkaido. Day 7 Day 7 The adventure ends here. Check out of your hotel and head to the airport. It’s time to fly back home. You’ll be flying with United Airlines.
