UK Progress File • Transcript + PDP • PDP definition: ‘A structured and supported process undertaken by an individual to reflect upon their own learning, performance and/or achievement and to plan for their personal, educational and career development’May 2000 CVCP, LTSN, QAA, SCoP policy recommendations

  3. eProgress File to ePortfolio • eProgress File: institutionally-provided (structured and supported) • Transition calls for use of interoperability standards • Lifelong learning ePortfolio privileges learner ownership, ongoing PDP in self-managed space, with voluntary dialogues

  4. Institutional systems - gains • Developing new practice: reflective review and planning for all, not just a few • QA: equal access to consistent institutional support for learning and development standardisation • Gains for the learner?
