  1. Transpersonal Regression Therapy By Marion Boon Trance-personal Regression as methodology Reincarnation as part of the paradigm

  2. Client centered regression therapy To work client centered a therapist needs to feel in good harmony with himself. Follow your client, not instructing where to go other than to the origins of their problems, contract focused. Help your client to heal himself with body mind and soul. Reliving is guided with open questions - only in this focus may a therapist direct the client towards a situation. To follow your client, you need to be stable, grounded, empathic, certain as a guide and ‘clean’ as a person. Not a guru but a cognitive creative guide.

  3. Address the need get the story right and completed

  4. Diagnostics (DSM-4) as a monologue * symptoms, repression, negation Treatment: fixation by medication - continuing the split off. Cognitive / behavioral therapies aim for accepting and coping, at ahigh cost of energy Regression therapy as dialogue* causes, roots, consequencesTreatment: liberatingly re-living, insights leading to understanding of one’s deformed behavior and permanent transformation. High gain of energy

  5. Direct focus - the TASSO approach Find the Emotion Find the corresponding Somatic E+S = Start the regression Have your client write down himself: His wish for healing, cure, change, transformation Later he may be reminded of his own situation by reading back his own words

  6. Consciousness in body mind soul

  7. Soul storage needs a body to unload and undo charges Body and mind include soul consciousness All we could not digest in life, will be stored for future digestion… karma is created. Similar charges trigger similar events of the past. In our bodies, incarnations, we live our lives - meanwhile carrying and reliving programs of the past. A conscious focus makes us aware.

  8. The Soul – concept Soul as the Big Spirit Energy that feels eternal and unchanged – oneness, wholeness of Being. Jung’s concept of collective consciousness, Sheldrake’s view of morfic fields, morfic resonance. ‘Light’ as a metaphor for Soul. soul – as personal attribute: individualized Spirit. We feel intense depth and pain, loneliness in our souls, and we can address and transform these issues in the body! Take soul charges seriously.

  9. Problems carry their own trance To get a person out of the trance of his problem, bridges are used. 1. Verbal bridge 2. Emotional bridge 3. Imaginative bridge 4. Somatic bridge 5. Bridge of breathing helps to focus ‘into’ the location of the problems’ storage and charges, the E + S

  10. Emotions Situations Words Thoughts Smell Hearing – music, voices Colors Feelings Impressions in sight Impressions in mind Conclusions (inside your logic) Conclusions (given by others) . An event may have a color with it: car accident = grey indicating frozen image trauma. . Daddy hitting you may have blue- his shirt, or smell -cigars . Mommy weeping may have a smell like alcohol or perfume. . Loneliness may carry coldness literally emotional cold . Fear may show an eye – it appears to be the eye of a horse beaten Body and Mind store memoriesand many things can be a ‘trigger’

  11. Mind your mind • Mind is thinking, logic reasoning, memory in chronological order • Mind discerns, aims for understanding, categorization, reckognition, order. • Confusion cannot be ordered and is stored as a knot of many layers, or mist/fog. • Mind resides in the entire body and soul memory • Body stored experiences surface to finally be understood and bring the story of the original event which caused the body to store it.

  12. Carl Jung: When the subconscious is made conscious, energy is won Unconsciously stored memories play a role in our lifes. The body holds the memory – repressed it can only show itself by dis-eases, ailments and causing (ununderstood) complaints. The mind lives the memory in (non-logical) reasoning, and ununderstood behavior. Addressing the need makes body stored memories surface. After good regression work, the repression is stopped and old energy is released, renewed energy is retrieved.

  13. The Royal Way: E + S Intake: Ask, listen, find, focus, fine-tune, do not move away from the presented charge. Find and note: charged words and sentences Create a short, direct focused Contract

  14. Personality parts • Transpersonal means working with more than present days personality. Recognition of personality parts – they split off, why?! • Inner children and babies, including prenatal • Teenagers, Young adults • Awoken past lifes, personality parts from previous times Frozen and split off personality parts should be retrieved, healed by reliving, getting insights, catharsis (cleansing, letting go after understanding) and ultimately integrated in the here and now. This builds and supports the present day personality.

  15. E + S (+ M / mes) To avoid repetition of a traumatic event the personality (of the child) creates a survival strategy – this mental conclusion starts to show up wantingly and mostly unwantingly. It is a coping structure that runs by itself. Automatic thoughts include: mental imprints by others ‘you’re no good!’ Such mental convictions / program / postulates go with the E + S • A client comes with a physical complaint -S, you find no emotion? Breathe towards the S, combine with the M. – the E will surface • A client comes with emotional complaint -E, seems to have no somatic? Get the M. make the E bigger, more intense, up comes a S. • A client is hindered only by an obsessive thought -M?* have them repeat it – aloud, make the thought complete. The S will come, the E will follow. *too much Mental focus may stimulate fantasy and symbolic reasoning: get them in their body – real is what makes the difference!

  16. Start the session • Contract • Induction: Focus on the E + S (No relaxation!) • Regression to the ‘first time’ or the ‘worst time’ you felt this E and this S this way. 5- go back 4-3-2-, let the impressions come. • Q: where are you? What is happening? Associated in the situation: are you alone? Is it cold/warm? Dark? Are you laying, sitting, standing? Feel if you have something on your feet, do you have clothes?

  17. The session is a symphony Focused creativity: professionalism, apply all your toolswhile keeping the focus and minding the contract! > Contract (problem, focus)Check of charges < \ / (is the contract met?) Induction (E+S) Integration \ / Regression Insights, understanding \ / Catharsis mental, emotional, physical

  18. Practice the Verbal Bridge I cannot do anything good. Repeat this charged sentence 5 times. It will bring E and S. Have your client choose what feels more intense: ‘I cannot do anything good’ or: ‘everything I do is wrong.’ Make the sentence complete: I am … because… When / if … then …. What is the worst that could happen if… The E + S will show soon a chain for pulling up words I am afraid… of?.. Myself… because?... I fail… and when I fail then? … I am worthless… when I am worthless then?... I cannot take care of my family… if I can’t take care of my family then?... They die… when they die then? … I hate myself… when I hate myself? … I want to die… when I die? … I feel rest. Peace. When I feel peace? I am happy. … or: I dont want to live. Or: when I die?... I feel bad about not having accomplished my life’s goal…

  19. Practice the Emotional Bridge I am so sad, I am uncertain, I doubt myself. What happens when you doubt yourself? I hate myself. …. I feel uncertain (pick most e-charged) What happens when you feel uncertain? = Focus on E My heart aches, my face turns red = up comes S Feel your heart ache and your face turn red My stomach aches too now Feel your H and F and St. more intense = anchoring Now you have the E and the S – regress to the first time you felt this. 5-4-3-2-1: where are you/What is happening? Allowe emotions, dont block them

  20. Practice the Somatical bridge My knees hurt.. (verbal: What happens when your knees hurt? I can’t walk… what if you can’t walk? …no need for work. Or: they only hurt when I see mother) Somatical: What kind of hurt? Pressure. From inside or outside? Outside… As if I am stuck. (verbal= repeat ‘I am stuck’) Now anger comes. Somatical= feel it. make it bigger. It burns. I am stuck (mental thought) angry (E) and it burns (S) Anchor these feelings. Then regress to the first time this happened

  21. Practice the Imaginative Bridge I become weak when speaking in front of groups. Imagine: when was the last time you had that feeling? At a presentation at work, audience. Who were the audience? All men watching me. Imagine you are there, you walk to the front of the room with all men watching you.. What happens? My knees tremble, I get weak, I almost faint. What do you feel? Fear. What are you thinking? ‘I must not show’ Because? they will get me. Anchor the S + E + M. Regress to the first time you feel this trembling in the knees, you think: they will get me.. Where are you and what is happening?

  22. Environmental influences The body is an open system, influences of environment enter and influence us in formation, deformation, supportively or undermining our character building. Foods, chemicals, pollution, human beings (work), hostile surroundings, violence – also a loving and caring family: our system takes in these circumstances, they influence our growth and development. The phenomenon of incorporated foreign energies, even attached deceased entities, must be understood; techniques to free the attached and restore authenticity in energy are essentials in trancework.

  23. Trance and elliptical consciousness In the trance of their problem, clients come to us.The therapist must not be in the trance of his own problems, since these will resonate with the clients’. Elliptical consciousness is the double focused attention a client gives from his present view to the past experience which is relived. Therapists will do their own personal analysis in trancework, clearing, cleansing and integrating their own personality to be a guide in stability. this avoids the intermingling of personality parts in trance – the hopping over of split off parts

  24. Terminology - I 1. Associated reliving: feeling the past experience in the present day body - becoming conscious of what causes the trauma, what happens exactly: body posture, thoughts, situation experienced inside the person. 2. Dissociatedreliving: getting an overview of the past situation: what happens, where am I? are there more? What did I miss and what happens when I am not aware? – birds’eye view.

  25. Terminology - II 3. Catharsis = the effect of understanding, cleansing, release, boil off, unloading of physical charges, mental clarity and peace after finally getting things clear and freeing oneself into the present. Mental catharsis - clarity of mind, reason Emotional catharsis - freedom of fobias etc Physical catharsis - body flow and health even Spiritual catharsis - the soul at ease

  26. Terminology - III 4. Inner children. A part of the adult present day person that was traumatized in any kind of way and ‘decided’ to flee from the body, or was forced out by violence A part that is frozen, split off, hiding in a cocoon. Loose part running its own program of coping: I say nothing, I can’t be touched, I am not here. These children parts need to be respected in their survival strategy – as a Gestalt, in the ‘personification’ technique. Get things clear, get it right, make the child trust the adult and let the adult take over the need to deal with situations – so the child can be a child again.

  27. Terminology – IV - Integration • Integration can only be done after having cleansed (catharsis) and dealt with all charges that caused the split off in the first place. It makes a person more complete, whole, happy and healthy. … and also: One needs not/can no longer hide… • Physical integration makes the system whole again, streaming again, flexible. It brings restoration of the auto immune system. It ends diseases or enables and supports healing. • Emotional integration creates a stabil character, a balanced personality, able to express and deal with anger and grief. • Mental integration brings clarity, overview, adulthood, responsibility can now be taken. It ends confusion. • Soul level: a part of lost energy is now available and no longer stuck in the program of a past. Karma cleared.
