  1. The Royal Proclamation of 1763 By: Lauren Do., Lauren B., Jarrett, and Jordan

  2. Who owned the land? • The French and the British claimed the land in Canada and west of the Appalachian Mountains. This is what caused the French and Indian war.

  3. Appalachian Mountains • Lots of trees and mountains. Lots of valleys and is very hilly.

  4. The Results of the French and Indian War • The British won the land and the Indians were angry because the British were moving west. So they attacked some of their posts and forts.

  5. The British Revenge • The British gave the Indians blankets with the smallpox infection on it.

  6. What is the Royal Proclamation? • It forbid settlers to move west of the Appalacian Mountain Range. • The settlers weren’t happy about it so they moved west anyways. • One of the guys that helped them move west was Daniel Boone.
