  2. CHINA China is one of the biggest countries in the world. China has the biggest population. 1,313,973,713 (July 2006) 1,317,000,000 (July 2007)

  3. Transport Planes are used to travel long distances. Bicycles, cars, buses and trucks travel on roads. In some places there are miles and miles of good roads.

  4. Transport Trains and trams move along on rail or track. Rail travel is important in large cities.

  5. Sport car This is Geely Automobile, one of most quickly developing Chinese automobile.

  6. LG-1 King Kong The full name of these cars is Geely LG-1 King Kong and it has been created by Korean and Italian companies.

  7. The one child family For a Chinese family, a boy is better than a girl because boys will farm the land and look after parents. A girl will move to her husband’s family when she marries and will also be expected to bring money with her.

  8. This means Chinese dragon The Chinese say the longer the dragon the better. They have a dragon dance at Chinese New Year.

  9. Egg in tea This food is from China, people eat eggs that are boiled in tea.

  10. Money front back This money is called yen front back

  11. Olympics New Beijing Great Olympics These are some of the sports in the Olympics.

  12. Olympics The city has taken on a completely new look as it enters the new century. It will embrace the athletes and friends from the rest of the world attending the Olympic Games.
